Perry-Martel was founded in 1988 with a vision to increasing the client service commitment to the executive search industry. As a former client of both retained and contingency executive search firms, co-founder David Perry was disappointed by the service he received from firms that consistently misunderstood his needs, over-promised and under-delivered.

David felt these firms lacked a sense of urgency, as well as accountability and empathy for his needs for talent and his budget. When he and Anita opened Perry-Martel he addressed those issues head-on.
